MOORING CHAIN INSPECTIONS

AUS-ROV employs world-renowned leaders in Mooring Chain Science. Our Specialist Subsea Inspection Engineer’s 7 year study into mooring chain failure paved the way for the international standards applied today. Our ROV systems are capable of working in high stress offshore environments and our skilled personnel are some of the industries most respected professionals. Through utilising miniROV technology, AUS-ROV has developed a system for quick deployment of inspection equipment and personnel in reactive situations. We can mobilise an offshore capable eyeball inspection class ROV and pilot/tech within hours of notification and have the system in the water and conducting inspection within 24hrs or less given the availability of helicopter transport.

OFFSHORE OIL and GAS

SUBSEA PIPELINES AND CABLES

AUS-ROV was established in collaboration with one of the worlds leading cable trenching experts whose lifetime's experience working on subsea cable and pipeline installations provides significant confidence in AUS-ROV. There are thousands of miles of pipes and cables beneath our oceans. Commercial, legal and operational considerations demand that these remain in good order. This requirement creates a constant need to verify location, condition and burial status. AUS-ROV can provide pre and post-survey for pipe and cable lay projects. Cable trenching support and depth of burial surveys can be carried out using our DOE M5 ROV integrated with Teledyne TSS or Innovatum SMARTRAK cable and pipeline locating systems.
